Make Your Cake...

Here are a few pictures of my new fun thing to do. I am not very good at it, but it is fun for me so people eat it and smile (Thank you family! You're the best!). It's a lot of fun, time consuming because I am so slow, but fun.

First Attempt Cake. I am so grateful for the dear gal that taught us how to do some of this stuff. She is the one that helped me with the Strawberry Shortcake cake. She put herself through college being a cake decorator at a bakery. It was so much fun and I learned that I actually enjoy it. Good thing my mom took a cake decorating class in her youth and had a bunch of decorating tools. Thanks mom!

Happy Father's Day!

We decided to go for an "Old West" cowboy theme this year for Father's Day. We had delicious chicken enchiladas that Nona made and had some good, ol' fashion poker (no real money... good thing, I am really lousy). We had a great time full of squirt guns and razzin' each other. It was a blast.

Bubble-O Gals

What can I say, the girls love the bubbles! We had a blast outside with the different bubble machines. I think I am falling in love with our camera and the outside pictures. They turned out great, of course the subjects make the pictures glow!

We had many a BBQ this summer full of sun and fun while we were still in Alaska. And, as you can see, these photos don't start out like it was fun (I don't even remember why she was so upset, but it looks cute), but I think they turned out great. I can believe how blond Boo's hair was already! Great times, great times.

Little Drummer Girl

Come they told her... parumpumpumpum... She'll entertain the masses... parumpumpumpum... She soaking wet you see... parumpumpumpum... and beating on a popcorn tin... parumpumpumpum, rumpumpumpum, rumpumpumpum... I hope that isn't sacrilegious. If it is, let me know and I will take it off. That's the only thing I could think of to write. She's a natural!
