Better Late Than Never

I am slow. What more can I say? This should come as no surprise to any of you that know me, especially my husband. I kind of had a lot of things going on lately and a whole lot of laziness (I am not afraid to admit it). Therefore, we are backward on announcement of baby and Christmas pictures, but it will just have to do. These are pictures my brother in law took so I cannot take credit. They are, however, the only pictures I have other than the girls opening their presents, but those are on my mom's camera and I haven't downloaded them yet (the laziness creeping through again).

The famous "eating" family picture.

Sidewaysness (yeah, I am running out of interesting things to say about the pictures... brain is fried)

Like I said, she was tired. I think this picture is adorable.

I love Bo's pony tail

The family

Our little brood with one in the oven. Bo fell and knocked her face into a chair. That's the lovely bump between her eyes. Priceless.

Introducing...

...our newest addition iLyn (not really her name. If you want to know her real name and you don't already know it, just email me and I will let you know :) She was born a little over two weeks ago (I know I am slow). She was 7 lbs. 3 oz. and 19.5 inches. She is tiny compared to our little Bo, but a sweet little angel. She looks like a skinnier version of Bo, which makes her kind of look like our oldest little Boo. I know you may not understand that, but we do. Anyway, all went well with the surgery and hospital stay. We ended up staying an extra day because little iLyn has jaundice. We are still working on getting it completely out of her system, but she is a little trooper. She really is a sweet baby and, compared to our middle daughter, relatively quiet (of course Bo made a jackhammer sound like a lullaby). We are exhausted, but enjoying our time with our new little one. The girls just love her, maybe too much. Both of them constantly want to hold and kiss her. It's adorable. She has made us so happy and we are grateful for her sweet little spirit in our home. I don't have a whole lot of pictures to put on here, but I will add just these two (I have more but I haven't transfered them yet. She isn't the child with less pictures, I promise. I will add a few more when I have energy). They are the same ones I sent out, but a few people didn't get them because I guess I don't know how to shrink pictures! I just thought I would share our good news!

Grandpa took this picture of her on her first day of life. Angel baby.

Her first bath. You know your children are too close together when you have the same nurses. The nurse giving her her bath was my favorite. She seems like this petite little thing, but she is actually a black belt in Taekwondo. Don't mess with her. Good thing iLyn didn't. She was a good girl :)
